I don't know Halion's sampling capabilities, but from what I've seen they are very comprehensive. Audio Unit, VST 2 & 3 and AAX format 1 Host dependent feature. The comprehensive library featuring over 3,000 instrument sounds in total, all created by the sound engineers at Steinberg and Yamaha.
